Bar Code Formats Supported:

Codabar, Code 128, Code 125, Code 39 (Code 3 of 9), EAN-13, EAN-8, ISBN, ISSN, ITF, ITF-14, MSI/Plessey, Pharmacode, Postnet/FIM, UPC(A), UPC(E).

Camera

Yes, we have a camera! We make camera line negs/positives, dupes & veloxes.

Dots and Dot Gain

Cal Art can input custom dot gain cutbacks for spot or process colors. This can be done with one curve for all colors or separate custom curves for each individual color. A variety of dot shapes can be applied per your preferences.

Printers Marks

We can customize printer's marks for your applications. These can include micro dots, AVT pRegister targets, color bars, a variety of registration marks, file names, color names, date and time stamps or any other graphic you would like to apply.

Scanning

Scanner specs: image size for reflective art is 8.4" x 11", transparencies 8.3" x 10"; 36 bit depth; 3.3 density range; 1,000 x 2,000 dpi optical resolution; 6,000 x 6,000 dpi interpolated resolution.

Step and Repeat

We can perform complicated S&R including seamless and nested S&R with total accuracy and excellent control of bleeds.

Trapping

We trap everything from the simplest line work to the most complicated gradients and process designs. We can trap quickly and can soft-proof traps to avoid wasted materials and time. We can print digital proofs that show trapping so that you can approve traps as part of the design process instead of only in the final film based proofs where the cost of revision is high.
